MWN # 86 – Indie Games, The Internet, and Socialist Muppets

December 9th, 2011 by Burnsie

This week, on the Midwest Nerds Podcast…

The nerds discuss the story behind the indie sleeper hit Flotilla, and what the future holds for indie devlopers in a world of digital distribution. Then, the internet, and the secret behind what all of us are really doing on the web in a world where we’re constantly online (other than looking at tons of porn).

Also this week:
-Your wireless carrier is gathering a TON of info on you, all the time
-Obsidian is developing a new RPG that you may not expect, but will want to play
-The Muppets are brainwashing the children of today with corrupt socialist values
-Steve’s Zombie Tip of the Week

Plus stay tuned during the break to hear information on the 1st ever “No Fate Con”. A convention by the fans, for the fans, about all things Terminator. More information at http://www.nofatecon.com. It’s all inside a brand new edition of the world’s greatest podcast (according to our mothers), The Midwest Nerds Podcast Episode #86

Fitocracy – Give it a chance. If you need to “Fitocracy” someone (used as a verb) I think you’re doing it wrong. ;)

  2. Haas says:

I couldn’t agree more about all the BS from Verizon/wireless providers. I remember getting the email and notification letter. I did opt out, but during listening to your guys podcast, I logged in to my Verizon, and checked the privacy settings… I was only opted 1 of 3 ways. Goddamn Verizon sneaking me again. I opted out of the rest of that garbage. I’m sure somewhere in that laundry list of garbage contract crap, it states they are monitoring my brain waves via my Droid too, though they aren’t getting much data there. I use my phone mainly after working hours, by then my brain is fried.

    Suck it verizon!

    Thanks guys!

    Fight the man!
