I felt like Diablo III played almost exactly like Diablo II, though some of the mechanics have been adjusted. The graphic makeover is fantastic; some of the physics are really cool, and the lighting is excellent. There are lots of little things that enrich the gameplay, like optional "lore" audio clips you can listen to while you are playing. It really is an old-school style dungeon crawler, true to the original entries in the series. What I'm excited to see is the myriad environments they create and how they will set the mood and ambiance in each of them. Being in "New Tristram" in the beta made it feel even more like Diablo and Diablo II, but I expect that they will create a plethora of variegate environments for us, in which we can click and play and slaughter. Also, Wizard FTW.

PS - I saw an episode of "Ancient Aliens" where they insinuated that aliens flying cigar shaped spacecraft brought the black plague. I laughed so hard I choked.

I really enjoyed Skyrim for the first 40-50 hours. The story and emersive game play was great... Then the combat became very tiring, my archery was maxed out, and it there wasn't much to look forward to. I then just burned through the main story line to finish.
